Here in Alie-Land, we love playing tennis. 

Tennis skills are introduced to every Grade 1 learner in the fourth term. Thereafter, in Grade 2, each learner has the choice to continue with tennis as an extramural sport. 

We annually participate in the Country District Trials and send our top six players from U/10 to U/14. From these trials, a regional team is selected, and this year we had six Alie players chosen for the Country District team. 

At the beginning of each year, our senior learners take part in the Eastern Cape tennis trials in East London. This year, we had two players selected for the Eastern Cape team.
