Teaching & Support Services
The school has a highly effective teaching and support network. At the helm of this very important department is the SBST committee, which meets every third week. During these meetings, plans are made to obtain professional assistance for learners experiencing a variety of challenges. Attention is given to remedial support classes, as well as referrals to speech or occupational therapists, psychologists, and counsellors.
The SBST committee works closely with the Department of Education’s support team and plays a significant role in supporting every learner who experiences learning, social, or emotional difficulties.
Weekly extra support classes are also offered, particularly in core subjects such as Mathematics and Languages. These classes are presented by subject teachers and are discussed in advance with parents whose children require additional assistance.
The school collaborates closely with various specialists in the wider community to ensure meaningful and effective support for every learner who needs it.
