National Service is a non-profit youth organisation that focuses on environmental conservation. Learners from Grades 4–7 can join the club. An annual registration fee is required, which ensures that members can participate in provincial and national projects and become eligible for special National Service awards. Club members meet every third Monday afternoon at the school. 

Club activities focus on the four pillars on which National Service is based: Love for our Creator, Love for your neighbour, Love for work, and Love for the environment. Learners are taught how to live out the club’s motto: “Actions, not words.” 

The ANPS National Service Club boasts 150 members, making it the largest club in the Eastern Cape. Our club is called “We Care”, and its logo is a small ant—the hardest-working little creature, which we aspire to be identified with!
