Congratulations to Olamide Olaifa who was selected for the u/12 Free State Country Districts sevens rugby team.
During the weekend of 28 August 2026, they played in the Fichies sevens tournament hosted by Fichardtpark Primary School in Bloemfontein.
Die span speel ses wedstryde en wen almal. Dit het hulle in die finaal geplaas.
The final was played against Grey College of Bloemfontein. In a nail biter final, they defeated Grey with 12 points to 10.
Baie geluk aan hierdie span met ‘n uitsonderlike prestasie.
Well, done Olamide, on making the Alies proud. We are proud of you and wish you luck for the upcoming tournament later this month.
ALIE DANCERS FROM RIëTTE’S DANCE STUDIO AT ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE EXAMS (RAD)
Twenty learners of Aliwal North Primary School participated in the rigorous exams of the Royal Academy of dance, which are recognized globally for their high standards.
The students have been preparing for months, mastering classical technique, posture and musicality under the guidance of Riëtte Nel.

Die o/9A seuns het op Saterdag, 29 Augustus 2026, hulle hokkieseisoen op ‘n hoë noot afgesluit by die JF hokkiedag in Bloemfontein.
Die seuns doen besonders goed en wen 4 van hulle 5 wedstryde en speel 1 gelyk op.
Dankie aan juffrou Allouise Pretorius wat die seuns vergesel het na Bloemfontein. Sy gee al die seuns ‘n kans om bietjie plekke om te ruil en sodoende teken elke seun in die span ‘n doel of twee aan.
Die hokkieseuns het die dag geniet en vol ywer deelgeneem.
Dankie aan elke ouer vir die bereidwilligheid en die ondersteuning tydens die sportdag.
Ons sien uit na 2027 se hokkieseuns.
