PROVINSIONAL BOYS’ HOCKEY TOURNAMENT
Gedurende die vakansie het Erik Prinsloo aan die Suid-Vrystaat hokkietoernooi deelgeneem.
Erik played both as link and as defender. Their team did very well and ended in a good 2nd place.
Hy beskryf die toer as ‘n lekker geleentheid om sy talent uit te leef asook om nuwe vriende te maak.

Op Dinsdag, 25 Julie 2023, het LSAN saam met ons dorp se skole, Holy Cross Primary School en Nkosi Sikelela Private School, ń aksie-belaaide middag van netbal gehad.
The girls enjoyed playing against one another and had lots of fun. Thank you, Holy Cross Primary School and Nkosi Sikelela Private School, for enjoying the day with us!
RUGBY:
Die 0/13C-span het Dinsdag teen Nkosi gespeel. Nkosi wen die wedstryd, maar die C-span het hulle bes probeer en het dit baie geniet.

Op Vrydag, 28 Julie 2023, het LSAN en Cathcart Laerskool kragte gemeet op die netbalbaan. Dit was ‘n lekker middag van mooi netbal.
We enjoyed hosting Cathcart at our school.

RUGBY:
Vrydagmiddag het die o/9’s, o/11’s en o/13’s teen Cathcart gespeel. The Alie-teams were far too strong.

EUNICE HOKKIETOERNOOI 29 JULIE / EUNICE HOCKEY TOURNAMENT 29 JULY 2023
In wind en koue weer het Alies die dag trotseer. Dit was ‘n dag vol lekker hokkie, lekker lag en lekker eet! At half past 5 Saturday morning the Alie buses left for Bloem. We took 16 teams from u/7 to u/10 boys and girls. Elke span het tussen 5 en 6 wedstryde teen verskillende skole gespeel. Dit was ‘n fantastiese geleentheid vir elke speler wat die toernooi kon bywoon en ons sien uit om dit volgende jaar weer te kan doen.
Overall, the Alies did really well and had an amazing day, filled with great quality hockey.
Thank you so much to Eunice Primary school for hosting such a wonderful event, the Alies thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, a big thanks to all the parents who came to support us and enjoyed the day with us.

Liefde vir ons medemens is een van ons 4 Landsdiens liefdes. Ons skop die kwartaal af met ‘n projek om te wys ons gee vir ander om. Graad 4-7 Landsdiens lede het omgee boksies versier, gevou en lekkers daarin gesit.
The grade 4-5 learners made care boxes for the staff of Aliwal North Hospital and the grade 6-7 learners for Huis Van Der Horst Old age home. We truly hope it made someone’s day beter and to know that the Alies care!
