Land service is a
non-profit youth organisation which focusses on environmental conservation.
Learners from Gr 4-7 can join the club. A yearly registration fee must be paid.
This ensures that members can partake in provincial and national projects, and
they are eligible for special Land service awards. Club members meet every 3rd
Monday afternoon at the school. Club activities focus on the 4 pillars on which
land service leans on: Love for our Creator, Love for your neighbour, Love for
work and Love for the environment. Learners are shown how to live out the motto
of land service: “Deeds, and not Words”.
The Land Service club
of ANPS boasts with 150 members and is the largest club in the Eastern Cape.
Our club’s name is: “We care”. The logo is a small little ant, which is the
most hardworking little animal with which we want to be identified!
