Every year, towards the end of August, this highlight on the
cultural calendar takes place. About 30-35 schools from all over the country
takes part. Between 3 000 – 4 000 entries are received!
Participants take part in Music, Singing, Drama and Dance.
During the eisteddfod week, these shows are judged by professional judges in
each field. This week is not only a feast for individual talent or stage
performances, but is also an exhibition opportunity for other Art divisions.
These are 2- and 3-Dimensional Artwork, Graphic design, Digital Art, and the
creation of Stage costumes. Those learners who have a passion for the written
word, can also showcase their talents by taking part in the Writing section of
the Eisteddfod.
Eistedd@Alies is definitely an experience not to be missed!
