The school has a very effective learning and support system
in place. To manage this very important
section, we have a SBST committee, who meets every three weeks. During these meetings plans are discussed to
refer struggling learners to knowledgeable people to assist them. Learners with a multiple of problems are then
referred to remedial classes, speech therapists, play therapists, psychologists
and counsellors. The SBST committee
works closely with the support team of the Department of Education and plays an
important role in the support of learners with learning, social or emotional
problems.
Extra classes are also provided weekly in basic subjects
like Languages and Mathematics. These
classes are offered by subject teachers after conferring with the parents of
learners in need of extra tuition. The
school co-operates with various experts in the wider community to provide
assistance to learners really in need of it.
