Hierdie jaar was daar \u2018n sterker behoefte om net weer saam te kuier en te ontspan.<\/p>\n<p>The semi-finals of the Rugby World Cup between the Springboks and the Roses of England, added to the tantalising excitement of the festival. Saturday evening the tents where packed with Bok-supporters. Goosebump moments arose when everyone stood and sang the National Anthem together. Right to the nail-biting end, we stood behind the Boks \u2013 what a relief and thrilling end when the whistle blew and we won! Great reason to celebrate till midnight!<\/p>\n<p>Met \u2018n diep dankbare hart s\u00ea ons <strong>BAIE DANKIE!<\/strong> Dankie aan ons borge, ons ouers wat diensbeurte geneem het op verskeie plekke en ons LSAN personeel wat gere\u00ebl en raakgevat het. Al die kleure van die re\u00ebnboog is by die Landsdiens se kleurgeveg gespuit. Van jonk tot oud kon aan ons kleurgeveg kom deelneem. Almal het dit baie geniet. Thank you to each child who participated in the Land Service&#8217;s Colour run on Friday afternoon. Each participant got their own syringe and could run around and squirt their friends with all the colours under the rainbow!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>OBSTACLE COURCSE \/ HINDERNISBAAN<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tydens die Buffelfees was een van ons aktiwiteite wat aangebied is, &#8216;n hindernisbaan wedloop. It was a 3.5km route, with 8 challenging obstacles and some rough terrain that the participants had to endure. R \u2013 o\/9 wedstryde.\u00a0 Die spelers het hul harte uitgespeel en baie geleer.\u00a0 Afrigting het tussendeur plaasgevind.\u00a0 Die spelers het dit baie geniet.<\/p>\n<p>Saterdagoggend was o\/10 \u2013 o\/13 aan die beurt.\u00a0 Ons kom darem \u2018n paar wedstryde speel voordat die re\u00ebn die dag se spel kortgeknip het.<\/p>\n<p>Baie dankie aan mev. BUFFELFEES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tydens die naweek se Buffelfees het ons 54 inskrywings vir Mnr. en Mej. Kalfie ontvang en 23 vir Mnr. en Mej. Buffelfees. Met baie moed het hulle die verhoog aangepak en gewys wat hulle in hulle het. Die beoordelaars het \u2018n groot taak gehad om drie wenners vir elke kategorie te kies.<\/p>\n<p>A big thank you to Wimpy Aliwal North that was the main sponsor Mr and Miss Kalfie and also to Mhatti Photography for all the beautiful photos of each contestant. On Monday, 16 October 2023, the We Care Land Service Club practiced their love for nature and service. Ons Landsdiens lede het gehelp om papiere op te tel en die terrein, wat vir die Buffelfees gebruik was, skoon te maak. Die seuns het vir Juffrou Amor\u00e9 gehelp om die hindernisse op te rig.<\/p>\n<p>Om iets vir jou dorp te doen en jou arbeid te bied, is &#8216;n gevoel wat niemand kan beskryf nie. Some of the grade 7 Land Service learners showed their creativity, when they painted the new trash cans in our town&#8217;s beautiful park. Ons Landsdiens leerders hoop dit kikker almal wat elke dag daar verby stap se dag op.
