CODING AND ROBOTICS TRAINING<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mnr. Van Rensburg en Mev. Vorster het op 10 September \u2018n kodering en robotika-kursus in Bloemfontein bygewoon.<\/p>\n

Coding is the language a computer uses to think and act. \u00a0The main focus of basic coding is the development of working memory and improvement of problem solving. \u00a0Leerlinge in die grondslagfase moet digitale vaardighede ontwikkel wat dan in Graad 4 tot 9 uitgebrei word. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The TANKS coding programme introduces learners, with no internet access, to coding. \u00a0Daar is 35 vlakke waardeur leerlinge die robot met behulp van gespesialiseerde legkaarte, \u2018n QR skanderingstoep en slimfoon, moet programmeer om voorgeskrewe bewegings uit te voer. \u00a0Learners master the basic coding concepts without needing expensive equipment. \u00a0

Die Sweetheart Stigting het uiteindelik ons proppies kom oplaai. \u2018n Hele lorrievrag!<\/p>\n

On the 1st of September a courier truck from the Sweetheart foundation came to pick up the first batch of bottle tops and bread tags.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dit was harde werk, maar met dit kan ons nou trots aankondig dat ons uit die projek +\/- 450kg doppies en +\/- 45kg broodknippies ingesamel het. Volgens die drywer was dit die grootste hoeveelheid wat hulle nog op een slag gelaai het.<\/p>\n

We want to thank all the surrounding schools that also collected and sent bottle tops and bread tags for this amazing project. We especially want to thank all our Alies who helped in collecting the majority of these bottle tops and bread tags and a big thanks to those who helped to sort and pack all the bottle tops and bread tags.<\/p>\n

COUNTRY DISTRICTS TENNIS VS XHARIEP TENNIS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Country Districts het Xhariep verlede Vrydag, 9 September 2022, op Bloemfontein aangepak. \u00a0Country Districts het gemaklik gewen. \u00a0Elke speler het die dag vreeslik geniet en baie ondervinding opgedoen. \u00a0Ons s\u00ea geluk aan die volgende spelers.<\/p>\n

o\/12 \u2013 An\u00e9 Naude, Sistine van Pletzen, Janroux Hattingh en Pieter Odendaal.

TARGET SHOOTING<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the 12th and the 13th of August, Ronell Geldenhuys and Gary Marx participated in the semi-finals for target shooting.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the u\/14 age group, Ronell Geldenhuys was in the 2nd place overall and Gary Marx came in 4th place overall. Both learners are through to the Free State finals that are taking place on the 2-6 October 2022
