They were among 1,090 primary school participants competing in distances ranging from 1 km to 10 km, with age categories spanning from 8 to 75 years.<\/p>\n<p>Atlete het letterlik teen die wind gehardloop in buitengewoon moeilike weersomstandighede, wat elke deelnemer se uithouvermo\u00eb tot die uiterste beproef het. Ten spyte van die uitdagings het al ons atlete hul alles gegee, met drie wat persoonlike beste tye behaal het. Ons is uiters trots op hul toewyding en prestasies.<\/p>\n<p>With this event, the 2025 cross country season officially comes to an end for now.<\/p>\n<p>Well done to you all!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>LSAN HOKKIE VS NKOSI<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Op Dinsdag, 5 Augustus 2025 het LSAN se o\/10 A en B seunshokkie teen Nkosi Sikelela Privaat Skool se o\/11 seunshokkie spanne meegeding. Our boys played good hockey and showed a positive attitude.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Die uitslae was as volg:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>u\/10 A lost 2-3\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>u\/10 B lost 1-3<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>ANPS NETBALL VS NKOSI<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thank you to Nkosi Sikelela Private School for a lovely sports day and very good competition!<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, 5 August, Aliwal North Primary School participated in friendly netball matches against Nkosi Sikelela Private School. Matches like these are valuable for player development and help build friendships between schools.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>o\/13 RUGBY VS NKOSI SIKELELA PRIVATE SCHOOL<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, 5 August 2025, ANPS played against Nkosi on our home field.<\/p>\n<p>ANPS took a well deserved lead early in the game, but Nkosi fought back by scoring some tries of their own.\u00a0 At one stage the score was very close at 28\/29.<\/p>\n<p>LSAN het egter te veel skietgoed gehad en wen welverdiend met 42 punte teenoor 29.<\/p>\n<p>Baie dankie aan Nkosi vir \u2018n baie genotvolle middag!<\/p>\n<p>Dankie ook aan al ons ondersteuners.\u00a0 Ons waardeer julle ondersteuning!!<\/p>\n<p>Rugbygroete tot volgende jaar!!<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>LSAN VS PRES. BRAND<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wat \u2018n voorreg het ons nie as skool om vir ons leerders die geleentheid te bied om hokkie te kan speel nie. Laerskool Aliwal-Noord se hokkiedogters en -seuns het die naweek van die 9de Augustus vertrek na Bloemfontein vir \u2018n dag van lekker hokkie. Dit was \u2018n wonderlike geleentheid om vir leerders vaardighede te leer en speelgeleentheid te bied. Dit was vir leerders, ouers en onderwysers lekker om weer deel te wees van \u2018n sportgeleentheid.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What a privilege we have as a school to give our learners the opportunity to play hockey. Aliwal North Primary School&#8217;s hockey girls and boys left for Bloemfontein on Saturday the 9th of August. It was a great opportunity to teach learners new skills and provide an opportunity to play. Verteenwoordig ons skool met trots en moed!<\/p>\n<p><strong>o\/13 A RUGBY: \u201cWIMPY-AAND\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Donderdag, 7 Augustus 2025, het die o\/13A rugbyspelers weer eens die geleentheid gehad om as kelners by Aliwal-Noord se Wimpy op te tree.<\/p>\n<p>This is a yearly event that serves as a fundraiser for the Dads and Lads tour to Jeffrey\u2019s Bay.<\/p>\n<p>Players get to experience what it is to be a waiter and what the job really entails.\u00a0 It is not that easy to be on your feet for such a long time and to content with the whims of difficult customers.\u00a0 This the players came to understand, and after the evening they all said that they have much more sympathy with waiters and that they will tip them generously in future.<\/p>\n<p>Spelers was dit eens dat dit nie so \u2018n maklike werk is nie.\u00a0 Bestellings moet geneem word en klante moet die regte bestellings kry.\u00a0 Luckily the regular waiters at the Wimpy were there to help with the
