LANDSDIENS \/ LAND SERVICE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Land Service this past week was in light of the Olympic Games. Aliwal North Primary School\u2019s Land Service members were divided into ten different teams, each representing a different nation.\u00a0
The \u201cparticipating nations\u201d were:\u00a0
New Zealand, Italy, China, Egypt, USA, Japan, South Africa, Mexico, Hong Kong and Germany.\u00a0

Let the games begin! The learners then competed in their respective groups against one another in various items. Teamwork and love for your neighbour was tested at this Land Service afternoon.<\/p>\n

WINTERPROJEK<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Laerskool Aliwal-Noord se Landsdiensklub het vir hierdie jaar ‘n winterprojek begin. Ons Wollige winter warmte projek behels die insameling van geskenkde winterklere en gebreide of gehekelde blokkies om komberse daarvan te maak.\u00a0
Die einddoel is om dit vir liefdadigheid te skenk.
Gedurende verlede Maandag, 5 de Augustus se Landsdiensmiddag het ons klub een van die take, van ons winter projek voltooi. Ons het aan ons plaaslike CMR winterklere geskenk.
